Nicole Scherzinger - Right There ft. 50 Cent
Nicole Scherzinger is the Pussycat Dolls' lead singer who also is determined to become a solo artist. She was born in the 29th of June, 1978 as Nicole Kea. She is also a songwriter and a model. Nicole has also tried her hand at acting. She is a combination of Filipino, Russian, and Hawaiian blood, as well as German roots on her mother's side.
Scherzinger was born to a Hawaiian-Russian mother and a Filipino father in Honolulu. Her parents went on their separate ways when she was just an infant. Nicole's mother remarried Gary Scherzinger who was a mixture of American and German. When Nicole turned six, the family (Nicole, her mother, stepfather, and her sister Keala) moved to Kentucky. Because of Scherzinger's love of performing, she studied at the Youth Performing Arts School and participated in Louisville's Actors Theatre.
In the year 2001, Nicole joined the talent show "Popstars" which made her part of Eden's Crush, an all girl band. She became one of Eden's Crush's lead vocalists and the group's single entitled "Get Over Yourself (Goodbye)" became a chart-topper in Billboard's Hot 100. The group's label: London-Sire Records, however, closed down, leading to the disbanding of Eden's Crush. After the disbanding, Scherzinger engaged in some solo appearances utilizing her real name Nicole Kea. She sang "Breakfast in Bed" included in the film: "50 First Dates". The said track was produced by Nicole's boyfriend at that time: Nick Hexum whom she stayed with for three years.
In 2003, Scherzinger became a member of the Pussycat Dolls. The Pussycat Dolls are now a very famous singing group, responsible for the hits: "Stickwitu", "Buttons", "Don't Cha", etc. Nicole wrote most of the songs in the Pussycat Dolls albums. She was also the lead vocalist, giving Nicole the title of "Queen Doll".
